Sealed bids for the Daniel Boone Pump Station Electrical Upgrades, 211 Wolfrum Rd., Weldon Spring, MO 63304 (hereinafter “Project”) will be received by the Public Water Supply District No. 2 of St. Charles County, Missouri (“Owner”), until the above time at the Owner’s office, 102 Water Drive, O’Fallon, MO 63368. There will be a pre-bid meeting and site visit at the above time at the Owner’s office.

• Site Visit scheduled for March 27, 2026 at 10:00am (211 Wolfrum Rd)

The Scope of Work for the Project includes the replacement of the existing distribution system and motor controllers, decommissioning of existing hardware, all wiring, conduit, panels, and associated appurtenances, etc. as shown in the project plans and specifications.

Shutdown work is expected to be performed in October 2027 to coordinate with high pumping season.

Bid security in the amount of Five percent (5%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid, in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders.

Wages shall be paid to each employee engaged in the work at a rate not less than the prevailing rate of wages for the particular trade or occupation, as issued by the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations. The Contractor shall be responsible for complying with the prevailing rate of wages for St. Charles County, Missouri. The Contractor shall be responsible for complying with Missouri Immigration Laws, and must submit the Work Authorization Affidavit with Bid. Contractor shall provide a ten hour Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) construction safety program for its employees working onsite on the project, as described in Section 800.

THE OWNER INTENDS TO AWARD THE CONTRACT TO THE MOST RESPONSIVE, RESPONSIBLE BIDDER SUBMITTING THE LOWEST BID. THE OWNER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REJECT ANY AND ALL BIDS, AND TO WAIVE ANY INFORMALITIES NOT INVOLVING PRICE, TIME OR CHANGES IN THE WORK IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE OWNER.
