Contractors are required to attend in accordance with the Bidders representations in this invitation to Bid. Pre-bid meeting questions and clarifications may be addressed to the project Architect, Gene Lund at (816)472-3360.

A second walk through for the Sewall Paint Building at 1009 West 8th Street, Kansas City, has been scheduled for Monday 3/10/08 @ 2:00 P.M.

Please notify any sub-contractors that would require a first or second look at the existing conditions.

Project involves the restoration of a century old, five story, timber frame building for the new Corporate Offices of Faultless Starch and Bon Ami Company, as well as leasable tenant space. The building is currently under review for Historic Registry status. Floor areas vary from 8500-9000 square feet, and scope of work generally includes: tuckpointing of exterior brick and restoring windows; restoring the integrity of the timber floor deck; interior finishing and new vertical circulation; and providing new mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
