Remodeling of two existing classrooms to be combined into one Science classroom and associated support spaces (base bid), as well as the remodeling of existing science classroom to improve safety, function and aesthetics. (alternate bids). Both "basebid" and Alternate bid" scopes of work include, but are not limited to, selective demolition, metal stud framing and drywall, acoustic ceilings, hollow metal frames, wood doors, VCT and sheet vinyl flooring, acrylic and epoxy paint, laboratory casework, refinishing of existing wood casework, reconditioning of existing epoxy resin countertops, and modifications to mechnical, electrical and plumbing systems to support the science classrooms.
