Sanitary Sewer System Improvements, Phases II and III project located in Higginsville, MO includes, but is not necessarily limited to furnishing all labor, material, equipment, tools, superintendence, and all other services necessary to perform the following construction work complete: Installation of 39 - 4? diameter, 54 - 5? diameter, and 4 - 6? diameter precast manholes; installation (removal and replacement) of approximately 24 lf of 8? dia. DR26 PVC pipe, 992 lf of 15? dia. DR26 PVC pipe, 5,703 lf of 18? dia. DR26/PS115 PVC pipe, 1,989 lf of 24? dia. DR26/PS115 PVC pipe, and 11,642 lf of 30? dia. DR26/PS115 PVC pipe, installation (removal and replacement) of approximately 1,171 lf of 18? dia. Cl50 ductile iron pipe, 390 lf of 24? dia. Cl50 ductile iron pipe, 5,158 lf of 30? dia. Cl50 ductile iron pipe; removal and replacement of 350 lf of 8? diameter point repairs; installation of 85 lf of 48? dia. steel casing pipe with 30" dia. DR26/PS115 PVC pipe; installation of 5 inside drop bowls and the associated appurtenances installation of 5,489 lf of 8? x 6.0 mm and 354 lf of 12? x 7.5 mm cured-in-place pipe lining; reconstruction of 72 existing pier tops to match new pipe installation; and reconstruction of 5 flush manhole bench and inverts; storm sewer improvements; surface restoration; installation and maintenance of the necessary erosion control materials: and all other appurtenances necessary to complete this project. No reports of explorations and tests of subsurface conditions at or contiguous to the Site have been prepared. As-Built Sanitary Sewer Plans depict some physical surface and subsurface conditions at the site. No other drawings of physical conditions in or relating to existing surface or subsurface structures at or contiguous to the Site are available. Copies of these drawings have not been included with the Bidding Documents but may be examined at the City of Higginsville City Hall and GBA during regular business hours (means to view reports and drawings in electronic format must be provided by Contractor.) It should be noted that these reports and drawings are not part of the Contract Documents and are provided for reference only. No bid may be withdrawn within a period of sixty (60) days from the date of the bid opening. The City reserves the right to award the contract to the lowest and best, responsive and responsible bidder(s) for the work covered by the bid and to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities and informalities in any bid submitted. Any bidder or equipment supplier whose firm or affiliate is listed on the General Services Administration (GSA) publication entitled ?Lists of Parties Excluded from Federal Procurement or Nonprocurement Programs? will be prohibited from the bidding process. Anyone submitting a bid who is so listed will be determined to be a nonresponsive bidder in accordance with 40 CFR 32. All bids shall include a completed and signed Certification Regarding Debarment, Suspension, and Other Responsibility Matters (supplied as Section 00480) certifying that the Contractor is not presently debarred, suspended, proposed for debarment, declared ineligible, or voluntarily excluded from covered transactions by any Federal department or agency. This certification should not preclude any interested party from ascertaining whether the certifying firm or person is actually on the list. To determine a person?s and/or firms? eligibility for award in accordance with the Debarment, Suspension, and Voluntarily Excluded Regulation, 40 CFR 52.500(b), contact the City of Higginsville. This project is financed through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 and the Missouri State Revolving Fund, established by the sale of Missouri Water Pollution Control bonds and federal Capitalization Grants to Missouri.
