General Provisions:

All excavation work shall be unclassified and shall include rock excavation if required. Contractor is responsible for removal of excess spoils to an on-site location on the contract drawings. Excess suitable materials will be disposed of according to the Geotechnical Reports. Location of existing utilities as required for this work. This Contractor is responsible for coordinating inspections and making sure items are complete and ready for inspection in advance. Provide notification to appropriate person(s) and agencies for all testing and inspection associated with this work. Provide all unloading, staging, and miscellaneous handling for work under this package. Coordination and cooperation with other Contractors that interface with this scope of work. Protection of other trade's work, including adjacent materials and/or work in place.
