The project consists of the construction of a police headquarters facility under one prime construction contract as follows.
1. The Facility is a one-story structure of approximately 22,000 gross square feet.
2. Primary exterior construction includes structural steel frame, masonry veneer with masonry backup, precast concrete, calcium silicate building stone with steel stud backup, and aluminum storefront systems. Exterior sheet metal copings, fascia, trim and wall panels are also included. A coated urethane roof if the primary roof system.
3. Primary interior construction includes gypsum wall board and metal stud partitions, suspended acoustic and gypsum board ceilings, wood and hollow metal doors in aluminum and hollow metal frames, laminate and wood casework and trim.
4. Primary interior finishes include paint, vinyl wallcovering, procelain and/or ceramic tile for wall and floors and carpet.
5. Special items include but are not limited to an operable partition, overhead coiling doors and shutters, fire sprinkler system, detention equipment, and regular duty and security lockers.
