PreBid Info:   A Pre-Bid conference will be held on Thursday February 1, 2007 at 3:30pm at Mission Valley Middle School followed by a trip to Trailridge. The Scop of Work will be reviewed at that time. All bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the per-bid meeting.

The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following:

1. Mission Valley Middle School, 8500 Mission Road, Prairie Village, Kansas 66206

a. Remodel of existing Science, Band, Vo-Tech Classrooms and infrastructure improvements, including stage/theatrical, sound system upgrades, security upgrades, plumbing, electrical, asphalt, concrete flatwork, masonry and EIFS repairs and a +/- 2,900 SF library addition all within the existing school.

2. Trailridge Middle School, 7500 Quiveria Road, Lenexa, KS 66216

a. Remodel of existing Science, Band, Art Room and Vo-Tech Classrooms and infrastructure improvements including stage/theatrical, sound system, security upgrades, plumbing, electrical, ashpalt, concrete flatwork, locker replacement and all within the existing school.

Each General contractor may receive not more than two(2) sets of the bidding documents. Mechanical, plumbing, electrical, masonry, and steel contractors may receive not more than one (1) set of bidding documents. Other contractors may review plans at the plan rooms, or at the office of Kevin Cowan Architects. No partial sets will be issued. Arrangements can be made to purchase full sets from Kelly Imaging.

Job Purchase Information:
Sets of Bidding Documents may be obtained from Kelly Imaging for a Refundable fee of $250.00 per set if plans and specs are returned to Kelly Imaging in good condition within 15 Days of bid opening. Make checks payable to Kevin Cowan Architects. Mail checks to: Kelly Imaging, Attn: Distribution, 10840 W 86th Street, Lenexa, KS 66214-1632.

  • 02/19/2007 - Addendum 2 Addendum #2 - Consists of 8 pages of 8.5 x 11.
  • 02/21/2007 - Addendum #3 Addendum #3 consists of 2 pages of 8 1/2 x 11.

The complete set of bid documents does not contain large format drawings.
