The project consists of the construction of a Law Enforcement Center for Hall County and the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, under one prime construction contract as follows:
- The facility is a two-story structure of approximately 44,000 gross square feet.
- Primary exterior construction includes structural steel frame, load bearing masonry, calcium silicate building stone, masonry veneer, aluminum curtainwall and storefront window systems, and a membrane roof system.
- Primary interior construction includes steel framed drywall, hollow metal doors and frames, wood doors, suspended acoustic ceilings.
Primary interior finishes include carpet, tile, paint, wall covering, and wood and laminate casework.
- The Contract will also include site development.
A pre-bid conference will be held at the Grand Island City Hall at 100 East First Street on March 23, 2006 at 1:30 PM. All General Contract bidders are invited.
Sealed bids with bid security must be received by the City Clerk at the Grand Island City Hall at 100 East First Street no later than 2:00 PM on April 5, 2006.
