RETURN OF DOCUMENTS:
A. Drawings and Specifications are issued without cost to those requesting the Construction
Contract Documents. All Drawing and Specifications are to be returned to The University of
Kansas, Office of Design and Construction Management, 1246 West Campus Road Room 114, Lawrence, KS 66045 following the date for bidding without cost to the University.
BID RESULTS:
A. Bid results will not be given to individuals over the phone. Results can be obtained by attending
the public bid opening, or by requesting a bid tabulation from the KU Office of Purchasing
Services, Attn: Kathy Jansen, kjansen@ku.edu . Copies of individual bids may be obtained
under the Kansas Open Records Act by contacting the KU Office of Purchasing Services, Attn:
Kathy Jansen, kjansen@ku.edu and submitting a written request for an estimate of the cost to
reproduce the specific documents identified in the request, and by then remitting that amount to
the above office. Upon receipt of the funds, the documents will be sent.

Job Purchase Information:

A.Contract documents will be issued in full size, half size, CD-Rom or Downloads from the Issuing Office: Drexel Technologies, 10840 West 86th Street, Lenexa, Kansas 66214-1632, (913) 371-4430. Bidding Documents will be shipped only if the requesting party assumes responsibility for all related shipping charges.
B. Each General Contractor may receive not more than three (3) sets of the bidding documents.
C. Each major subcontractor, defined as the Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical, Fire Protection and
Drywall subs, may receive not more than two (2) sets of the bidding documents.
D. All other subcontractors may receive one (1) set of the bidding documents.
E. In an effort to utilize resources responsibly, the University encourages all subcontractors to
utilize the plans of the General Contractors and the plan rooms as much as possible.
