Contract District No. 2 of Little Mill Creek No. 7 Sanitary Sewer Interceptor project includes, but is not necessarily limited to furnishing all labor, material, equipment, tools, superintendence, and all other services necessary to perform the following construction work complete:
Furnish and install 7 each of 4?-0? dia. manholes; 1 each of 5'-0" dia. manhole; 62 l.f. of 8" dia. DR26 PVC pipe; 895 l.f. of 10" dia. DR26 PVC pipe; 24 l.f. of 12" dia. DR26 PVC pipe; 77 l.f. of 20" dia. steel casing pipe with a 10" dia. DR26 PVC carrier pipe; 105 l.f. of 24" dia. steel casing pipe with a 12" dia. DR26 PVC carrier pipe; erosion control; surface restoration; and all other appurtenances necessary to complete the project.
Each Bidder shall submit with their bid a bid bond issued by a surety licensed to do business in the State of Kansas in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount of their bid plus all alternates. Said guarantee shall be made payable to the Board of County Commissioners of Johnson County, Kansas.
The County reserves the right to award the contract to the lowest and best, responsive and responsible bidder(s) for the work covered by the bid and to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities and informalities in any bid submitted.
Nonresident corporations that are not already registered with the Kansas Secretary of State and all nonresident individuals and partnerships are required by law to register with the Department of Revenue, State Office Building, Topeka, Kansas, and pay a fee for each and every contract as a precedent to commencing work on the contract. For contracts in excess of ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00) the foreign contractor shall file with the Department of Revenue an acceptable bond in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the contract.
No bid may be withdrawn within a period of sixty (60) days from the date of the bid opening.

Plan holders may purchase a half size set of plans after the purchase of a full size set for an additional non-refundable fee of $7.00.
