1.1 PROJECT INFORMATION

A. Notice to Bidders: Qualified bidders are invited to submit bids for Project as described in this Document according to the Instructions to Bidders.

B. Project Identification: Natatorium Demo project number 25-316.

1. Project Location: 1110 West 8th Street, Coffeyville, Kansas 67337.

C. Owner: Unified School District 445.

D. Architect: incite Design Studio, LLC, 7200 West 75th Street, Overland Park, Kansas 66204.

E. Project Description: Project consists of demolition of the natatorium and associated infrastructure.

F. Construction Contract: Bids will be received for the following Work:

1. General Contract (all trades).

1.2 BID SUBMITTAL AND OPENING

Revise first paragraph below to suit Project. Retain bid date and time consistent with recommended local practices.

A. Owner will receive sealed bids until the bid time and date at the location indicated below. Owner will consider bids prepared in compliance with the Instructions to Bidders issued by Owner, and delivered as follows:

1. Bid Date: 1/29/2026

2. Bid Time: No later than 2:00pm

3. Location: Coffeyville Public Schools District Office, Attn Michael Speer, Deputy Superintendent of Schools. 615 Ellis, Coffeyville, Kansas.

B. Bids will be thereafter publicly opened and read aloud.

1.3 BID SECURITY

A. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.

1.4 PREBID CONFERENCE

A. A prebid conference for all bidders will be held at the project location on 1/14/2026 at 11:00am. Prospective bidders are required to attend.
