The Meriden-Ozawkie Public Library, Meriden, KS is inviting Bids for the Work involving the new construction of Meriden-Ozawkie Public Library in Meriden, KS as designated in the Bid Documents.

BG Consultants’ Project No. 25-1187

BG Consultants will receive bids on behalf of the Meriden-Ozawkie Public Library, Meriden, KS for a Contract for the Project. Qualified General Contractors may submit as the General Contractor for this Work.

Bids will be accepted by the following methods: 1) submitted in a sealed envelope delivered to Meriden City Hall at 103 E. Main Street, Meriden, KS 66512 by the above time. Bids received after this time will not be accepted.

Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud by BG Consultants in Meriden City Hall at 103 E. Main Street, Meriden, KS 66512 by Friday, January 30, 2026 at 2:15pm..

Bidding Documents may be examined and obtained online, on or after Thursday, December 25, 2025, via the Drexel Technologies, Inc. Planroom, http://projectbids.drexeltech.com/, Bidding Documents may also be examined upon request at Meriden City Hall at 103 E. Main Street, Meriden, KS 66512, and at BG Consultants, Inc., located at 4806 Vue du Lac Pl., Manhattan, KS 66503. Requests shall be made to Cameron Tross, Project Architect, (785) 480-6185.

All Bidders are subject to and must comply with applicable state and federal anti-discrimination laws.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive informalities or irregularities in the bidding.

A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at the above time, located at Meriden City Hall at 103 E. Main Street, Meriden, KS 66512, immediately followed by a tour of the project scope areas.

Bidders are encouraged to visit the site prior to the Bid opening to satisfy themselves with the existing conditions. No allowances shall be made to bidders for negligence for not visiting the site.

Bids shall not contain any recapitulation of the work to be done. No oral, telegraphic, or telephonic proposals or modification will be considered.

All bids shall be submitted sealed in envelopes and titled:

“BID PACKAGE – MERIDEN-OZAWKIE PUBLIC LIBRARY”
