Sealed bids for Pavement Marking 2026 will be received by the City of Maryland Heights, 11911 Dorsett Road, Maryland Heights, MO 63043, until the above time at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. All bids must be submitted electronically, bids for this project are being accepted electronically only via the Bid Express website at www.bidexpress.com. All bidders must register with Bid Express to obtain a digital ID. Bid Express has indicated it could take up to 7 business days to process the digital ID. The City will electronically open bids on the date and time indicated above. All documents necessary to submit a bid will be available on the bidexpress.com website beginning on January 8, 2026. No paper bids will be accepted.
Plans, specifications, and bid packages will be available beginning January 8, 2026, from Drexel Technologies, 60 Progress Parkway, Maryland Heights, Missouri, 63043, 314-872-0900.

The scope of work includes pavement marking of approximately 373,265 linear feet of striping and 1,963 linear feet of stop bars 5,602 linear feet of crosswalks, 23 railroad crossings, 293 arrows at various locations throughout the City.
Not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages shall be paid to all workmen performing under this contract in this area according to the rates determined by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations of the State of Missouri.
A bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
The successful bidder shall comply with the requirements of RSMo § 292.675. The requirements include on-site employees to complete the ten (10) hour Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Construction Safety Program, which includes a course in construction safety and health approved by OSHA or a similar program approved by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations.
For any contract greater than $5,000, the successful bidder shall comply with RSMo § 285.530, as amended and by sworn affidavit affirming that it does not knowingly employ any person who is an unauthorized alien and participation in a federal work authorization program with respect to the employees working in connection with this contract. The required documentation must be from the federal work authorization program provider. A letter from contractors reciting compliance is not sufficient.
The City of Maryland Heights reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to waive any irregularities in the best interest of the City. A Bid may not be modified, withdrawn or cancelled by the bidder within sixty (60) days following the time and date designated for the receipt of bids, and each bidder so agrees in submitting his bid.
