NOTICE TO BIDDERS

October 7th, 2025

Sealed bids will be received by the City of Manhattan, Kansas, at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 1101 Poyntz Avenue, Manhattan, Kansas, until the above time, at which time the bids will be opened and read aloud. Bids received after said time will be returned to the bidder unopened. These bids will be for the furnishing of all labor and materials, and performing all the Work in accordance with the drawings and specifications for:

Hudson Avenue Reconstruction

(Anderson Ave. to Claflin Rd.)

Project No. ST2501

The project will include but is not limited to the following major categories of work:

  1. CONCRETE PAVEMENT (7” UNIFORM)(AE)(NRDJ) 5,001 SY

  2. AGGREGATE BASE (AB-3) (6”) 5,941 SY

  3. CURB, MONOLITHIC (AE)(TYPE I)(6”) 2,561 LF

  4. STORMWATER INLETS (VARIOUS) 6 EA

  5. STORMWATER PIPING (VARIOUS) 544 LF

TIME LIMIT:

Early Start Date: December 22nd, 2025

Late Start Date: February 16th, 2026

Substantial Completion: 120 Working Days

Final Completion: 20 Working Days
